    OMCS Dress Code Policy - Presentation Transcript

    1. DRESS CODE POLICY SHIRTS ACCEPTABLE: Polo style shirt (solid or stripe) Buttoned collared shirt - blouse, oxford, turtleneck, or dress shirt (solid) Sweaters/Sweater Vests (solid or stripe) may be worn over shirt SHIRTS NO LIST: Sleeveless Sleeveless worn over collared shirt (sweater vest is acceptable) Logos, Embellishments, Advertising, Graphics, Appliqués PANTS/SHORTS ACCEPTABLE: Solid colored Flat or pleated front Chino/Twill/Khaki, Corduroy, Carpenters Shorts (no shorter than 3/4 of the length between the hip bone and knee cap) Cropped/Capri (girls) PANTS NO LIST: Leggings Cargo Gaucho Athletic Denim (except on “casual Friday”) SKIRTS ACCEPTABLE: Solid colored or plaid Flat or pleated front Chino/Twill/Khaki No shorter than 3/4 of the length between the hip bone and knee cap) Must have shorts underneath SHOES NO LIST: Open-toed Backless Character Sandals/Flip-Flop Heels over 1” Rollers or Lights of any kind OUTERWEAR: Solid colored sweatshirts with hoods (“hoodies) in both pullover and zip up styles Acceptable shirts must be worn under hoodies at all times. Hoods may not be worn on the head while in the building Any hoodies worn inside the classroom must meet dress code requirements Outerwear worn to/from school and at outside recess is not considered a dress code item Snow boots must be changed into school-approved shoes while inside the building All students will follow a specific field trip dress code for all field trips and on other specifically designated occasions. This dress code will be determined by the school’s governing board before the start of this school year. Fridays will be designated as “casual Friday”, and students may wear denim pants with appropriate tops.
