    2. The OECD Development Centre
      • Helps policy makers in OECD and partner countries find innovative solutions to the global challenges of development. It does this by
        • Acting as a bridge between OECD and partner economies
        • Producing analysis on key development issues
        • Providing a forum for informal policy dialogue
      • It is thus one of the principal instruments of the OECD’s influence on the conception and practice of global development policy
    3. A unique asset for the OECD
      • Strengthening OECD global relations
        • Unique, open governance structure
      • Adding value
        • Products: complementing OECD outputs
        • Process: pure peer learning in an informal environment
      • Innovating
        • Flexibility at the service of the OECD
    4. Increasing relevance, increasing membership 2009: 34 members* (*) Incl. Indonesia (application approved by Council on 13 Nov. 2008). Applications currently under consideration : Costa Rica, Mauritius, Morocco and Peru.
