  • Blog Traffic and Highlights for Q2 2011In the 2nd quarter, about 6,200 unique visitors came to the blog and viewed 16,000 pages, growing with an increase of about 70% over the last quarter. Combined, the EduTech blog and Education for Global Development blog together made up 10% of all World Bank education web traffic. During the past 4 months, the blog’s RSS feed registered 76,000 hits. Three of our blog posts were featured on the World Bank’s Facebook page, creating 28,000+ impressions apiece. Twitter: Our blog posts were tweeted several times, reaching 15,000+ followers each time. Highlights: One of our posts, School Feeding Offers Double Dividend of Healthier Children and Better Chances in the Classroom, was prominently featured on the World Bank’s homepage. Another post, Obama backs U.N. indigenous rights declaration, is now featured on the World Bank’s blog site, along with our latest statistic on PISA learning indicators available in EdStats.
