  1. 1. Questionnaire Analysis
  2. 2. How old are you? <ul><li>We asked four males and seven females to fill out our questionnaire with nine of them being 17 and two being 18. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Are you male or Female? <ul><li>As there were more females that filled out our questionnaire, we decided to split our results into male and female answers in order to find out if there was a difference in the answers given and to also find out the best way to please our target audience by meeting all their needs. </li></ul>
  4. 4. What type of clothing do you prefer to wear? <ul><li>Four people answered dress to impress with three females and one male. Four people answered casual with seven females and one male . </li></ul>
  5. 5. What retail stores do you often purchase your clothes from? <ul><li>We asked this question to indentify what style of clothing out target market generally go for so that we may incorporate this into our music video . </li></ul><ul><li>- Our results were six votes for top shop, six votes for river island, five votes for Primark, three votes for republic and one vote for Dorothy Perkins, our results reflect the modern teenage style and the main retail stores that represent this. </li></ul>
  6. 6. What genre of songs do you like? (tick many if needed) <ul><li>The majority of people votes for R&B and since this is the most popular genre, we will be choosing an R&B song for our music video. </li></ul>
  7. 7. What is your favourite song at the moment? <ul><li>To get an idea of what sort of music young people listen to, we asked who peoples favourite artists were and got a whole range of artists as answer from Linkin park right through to Gyptian. </li></ul>
  8. 8. When you watch a music video, what do you like to see? <ul><li>We also looked at typical conventions of a music video and the results were: Dancing (both male and female), a narrative, live performances and girls. This gives us a better understanding about what our target audience want. </li></ul>
  9. 9. What do you normally see in music videos? (tick many if needed) <ul><li>Asking people what they normally see in a music video allowed us to show what people are used to seeing and give new and alternative ideas so that they don’t find our video repetitive and boring. </li></ul>
  10. 10. How often do you see live bands? <ul><li>By asking our audience is they see live bands often, we were able to know what type of entertainment they are used to and how we could best connect to them. The results were: one person said they go every few months, two people said twice a year and seven people said never. </li></ul>
  11. 11. How much would you spend on downloading and buying music a month? <ul><li>The majority of people said that they spend around £20 buying and downloading CDs a month. This helps us to know how our product would be received once produced. </li></ul>
  12. 12. How often do you listen to music? <ul><li>Everyone ticked that they listen to music everyday. This is beneficial to us as we know that they are likely then, to listen and watch our music video. </li></ul>
  13. 13. What devices do you use to listen to music? <ul><li>We had a range of different answers for this question : eight people said that they listen to music on their iPod, seven said they listen to music on their mobile, 11 said they listen to music on their computer, one person said they listen to music on their mp3 and three people said they use other devices. </li></ul>
  14. 14. Do you prefer to download music or buy CDs? And why? <ul><li>The majority of people said that they prefer to download music as it is easier for them to access and carry around with them when they go out. The results were: 11 people saying download and one person said they prefer to buy on CD. </li></ul>
