  • Although I spent most of my working career in sales, I never 'got rich quick' for one reason: Ethics. If a prospect could not use my product or another company's product would fill their needs more closely, I would call a competitor and, with the prospect's permission, give them the lead.

    Getting rich was not my goal; discovering what people needed and helping them get what they needed was my one and only goal.

    Could I have become wealthy? You betcha. But only at the cost of my personal ethics. I did save a decent amount of money but was wiped out in 2008 along with millions of others.

    So here I sit, a pregnant prostitute, driving a Yugo <g>

    BUT, I can look at myself in the mirror and not turn away in disgust, money is relative (I wish I had a rich one <g>) and at the tender age of 72, my blood pressure is 115/55, I know nobody is out to get me.
