S te p 1: Downloa d s e tup file
Download the .exe file to install on your computer.
Note - Please use IE to download without any
issues or hassles. I am a Firefox user and found
downloading RediffB ol to be a problem. Using IE
with A ctiveX installed works best.
If you are using IE rightnow, click the image to go
straight to downloading the .exe file.

S te p 2: S e tup file downloa ds
Once you land on the download page the
file will start downloading by itself and
the orange bar will show the progress of
the download.
In case A ctiveX is not installed, you will
get a popup asking you confirm
installation of A ctiveX. Click Y es.
Depending on your internet connection
and computer speed, the download can
take up to a few minutes. B e patient!

S te p 3: ‘R un’ th e s e tup file
Once the setup file is downloaded
into your computer, the ‘Run’
popup box will err..’pop-up’!

S te p 4: R un th e S e t Up

This is a pretty simple step.
Do pay attention to the
recommendation of closing all
other applications down before
clicking the |Next >| button.
B est to be have a safe successful
installation than a rushed and sorry
mess-up!

S te p 6: Ins ta ll Loc a tion
The Install location window will
show a ‘default’ location of
C:\\Program Files\\ Rediff B ol\\.
Unless you have a specific reason
to change the location, just leave
the location as it is.
If you want to change, either type
your file location in the box or use
the | rowse|button to navigate to

the location of your choice.
Click the |
Next >|button.

I like a very clean uncluttered
desktop. S o, I usually uncheck
everything when I have these
options to choose from.
Y ou choice and preference may
vary.
Once your choices are made, Click |
Install|

Once the | Install|button is clicked,
the S etup file will now extract and
install all the files needed to run
this program.
Here again, depending on your
Internet connection and computer
speed, it may take upto a few
minutes.

Check the box [ ] next to ‘Run

S ince I already have a Rediff email account, I have
the [S ign In] option in the top box.
If you do not have an account, your will need to
click |
Register|to go through the account/ ID
creation process

Fill in all the fields marked with a red *,
which are compulsory.
S croll down to the bottom of the page
and click |Register|.
A ll going well, you will see your new
account and you will be able to sign
into your Rediffbol 8.0 M essenger, and
start using it.
