    • Purpose
    • The purpose of the District Safety Committee shall be to review district safety and security programs and industry best practices to provide input to the district as to their application in Round Rock ISD.

    • Operating under two Emergency Response Crisis Management grants from the U.S. Department of Education, 19 school districts and special schools in Travis and Williamson Counties and area emergency management officials have joined forces to form the Central Texas School Safety Consortium (CTSSC).

    • Those districts are Austin, Del Valle, Eanes, Elgin, Florence, Georgetown, Hutto, Jarrell, Lago Vista, Lake Travis, Leander, Liberty Hill, Manor, Pflugerville, Round Rock, Taylor, Thrall, Texas School for the Deaf and Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
