  • A company is coming to Germany:

    In the fall of 2009, time had come. We first started thinking about an establishment in Germany.
    With its 82 million inhabitants Germany is the most populous country in the European Union and therefore also the largest market in the EU. With a gross domestic product of over 2.2 billion euros, Germany is the largest economy in Europe and the third strongest economy in the world.
    Speaking to my accountant in Denmark, we discussed advantages - and disadvantages from the Danish perspective, and then it was for sure:

    We want to expand to Germany.

    Following the recommendation of my accountant in Denmark, I got in contact with the Nordic Network Center and the first contact person: Thorsten Manewald
    In a very pleasant first phone call Thorsten explained what was important for us to think about before coming to Germany and proposed the next step: a first meeting in Germany just behind the border.

    Visiting the NNC, the short way (2,000 meters) from the highway to the premises was very comfortable.
    I cannot exactly describe the feeling I had when I entered the premises – but it wasn’t what I had expected of a German company. One had the feeling that everyone was really enjoying their work and somehow I was still in Denmark.

    Then Thorsten Manewald picked me up personally and we had our first meeting.
    We agreed on a timetable of how to continue and the deadline for signature of all contracts.
    When we met the second time all responsible leaders joined me in the premises to sign all contracts:

    •Contracts of Association
    •Employment Contracts
    •Brokerage Agreements (Insurance / Real Estate)
    •Opening of a Bank Account
    The tax and social security matters were also discussed.
    What I realized only at the end was that I could talk my native language all the time and it was quite natural for everyone. Somehow I felt like I was among friends.

    The Wohnexperte is a special company of the real
    estate industry – not at least because of the particular
    path of the founder and manager Henrik Manewald
    who has completed his training successfully in 1999
    as a carpenter and then at the age of 25 he received
    a master craftsman´s diploma in carpentry. With
    this qualification his dream came true but reality
    caught up with him soon. Through a herniated disc
    Henrik Manewald was incapable to work as a
    carpenter. Still he did not give up and continued with a
    retraining as a real estate and housing
    businessman successful.

    The energy consultancy Flensburg is a specialized
    company to all property sizes. The company, founded
    by UweBierkandt in 2006, serves private customers
    and businesses nationwide. Including builder, home
    owners, real estate agents and housing associations
    who are supported by the energy efficient design of
    houses and buildings. Not at least because of the
    instruction „only a satisfied customer is a good
    customer“ this collaboration has proved reproductive.
    Therefore the customer can be helped in all matters
    with all aspects around the real estate.
