  • 10. More Information Cubist Painter and Sculptor. He is considered the Third Member of Cubism, after Pablo Picasso and George Braque. His highly intellectual approach to his work is what established him as the greatest theorist among the Cubist painters. His work was distinct from the other Cubist artists. Strict geometric patters characterized most of Juan’s his work. The use of vivid colors, done in harmonious tone, characterized Gris’ style. Exacting and explicit are the words that can come close to describing Gris’ artworks.
