In its second phase, Synthetic Cubism, the movement spread and remained vital until around 1919, when the Surrealist movement gained popularity.
Pictorial Movement
10. 10. More Information
Cubist Painter and Sculptor. He is considered the Third Member of Cubism, after Pablo Picasso and George Braque.
His highly intellectual approach to his work is what established him as the greatest theorist among the Cubist painters.
His work was distinct from the other Cubist artists.
