These concerns can include everyday issues like moneymanagement, spouse employment and education, parenting and child care, relocation questions,deployment, reunion, and the particular concerns of families with special-needs members. They can alsoinclude more complex issues like relationships, stress, and grief. The program can be especially helpful toservice members and their families who live at a distance from installations. Military OneSource is available24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any location in the world (call 1-800-342-9647 or go towww.MilitaryOneSource.mil).Return to the TopEligibilityPeople eligible for Military OneSource include: • Active-duty service members in the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force and their immediate family members. • National Guard and Reserve members and their immediate family members (including members of the Individual Ready Reserve), regardless of activation status. • Anyone who has legal responsibility for a service members children during deployment or separation from the family. • Retired and separating service members and their immediate family members for up to six months following their separation.Others eligible for Military OneSource include extended family members when they are seeking assistanceon behalf of their service member, and certain qualified DoD civilians.
