Evaluation question two
1. How does your media product represent particular social
groups?
2. My main target audience was recognised by my target audience survey.
This showed me that the most popular age was 16-30. I then realised this was young
audience, so I aimed my film at this age and their social groups.

3. The main social group represented in my film is teenagers. Because
1) it is set in a school (a more teenager based environment)
2) All my actors were teenagers as well
4. My vampire character was very much a countertype of a vampire. I decided to do this
as if I was to have a stereotypical vampire say Dracula, it wouldn‟t have fitted with the
Mise En Scene of a school. And also my aim was to show how vampires are having to
live in the 21st century
5. On the left is my vampire, and the left Dracula.
The shoes in my vampire are very modern and not
something you would relate to a vampire. The
whole costume you wouldn‟t relate to a vampire. I
did this because I wanted my vampire to be as
“normal” as possible.
This is the traditional vampire (based on
Bram Stoker) if you look at this and see it
in a school, it just wouldn‟t work with my
Mise En Scene.
6. I chose to use a female character as my „victim‟ because stereotypical a girl is
innocent. This is why I used Harriett as she looks innocent, you could class this as
typecasting.
7. On the left is the girl I used as my “victim”,
and on the right just a typical school girl.
My “Victim” is just the typical school girl.
She is wearing what she normally wears for sixth form.
You cant get much more realistic than that.
