Evaluation question two

  1. 1. How does your media product represent particular socialgroups?
  2. 2.  My main target audience was recognised by my target audience survey. This showed me that the most popular age was 16-30. I then realised this was youngaudience, so I aimed my film at this age and their social groups.0510152025300-15 16-30 31-45 46-60 61-75 76+Age
  3. 3.  The main social group represented in my film is teenagers. Because1) it is set in a school (a more teenager based environment)2) All my actors were teenagers as well
  4. 4.  My vampire character was very much a countertype of a vampire. I decided to do thisas if I was to have a stereotypical vampire say Dracula, it wouldn‟t have fitted with theMise En Scene of a school. And also my aim was to show how vampires are having tolive in the 21st century
  5. 5. On the left is my vampire, and the left Dracula. The shoes in my vampire are very modern and notsomething you would relate to a vampire. Thewhole costume you wouldn‟t relate to a vampire. Idid this because I wanted my vampire to be as“normal” as possible. This is the traditional vampire (based onBram Stoker) if you look at this and see itin a school, it just wouldn‟t work with myMise En Scene.
  6. 6.  I chose to use a female character as my „victim‟ because stereotypical a girl isinnocent. This is why I used Harriett as she looks innocent, you could class this astypecasting.
  7. 7. On the left is the girl I used as my “victim”,and on the right just a typical school girl.My “Victim” is just the typical school girl. She is wearing what she normally wears for sixth form. You cant get much more realistic than that.
