*Red Tacton is a new Human Area Networkingtechnology that uses the surface of the human bodyas a safe, high speed network transmission path.*Red Tacton uses the minute electric field emittedon the surface of the human body. Technically, it iscompletely distinct from wireless and infrared .Atransmission path is formed at the moment a partof the human body comes in contact with a RedTacton transceiver. Physically separating ends thecontact and thus ends communication using RedTacton, communication starts when terminalscarried by the user or embedded in devices arelinked in various combinations according to theusers communication is possible using any bodysurfaces, such as thehands, fingers, arms, feet, face, legs or torso.* Red Tacton works natural, physical movements.
*Using a new super-sensitive photonic electric fieldsensor, Red Tacton can achieve duplex communication overthe human body at a maximum speed of 10 mbps.*The Red Tacton transmitter induces a weak electric fieldon the surface of the body. The Red Tacton receiversenses changes in the weak electric field on the surface ofthe body caused by the transmitter .Red Tacton relies uponthe principle that the optical properties of an electro-opticcrystal can vary according to the changes of a weak electricfield. Red Tacton detects changes in the optical propertiesof an electro-optic crystal using a laser and converts theresult to an electrical signal in a optical receiver circuit
