  • Rail lines and electric streetcars, as pictured above, were frequently used in Los Angeles and were most popular during the 1920’s. They usually ran in the counties of L.A., Orange, Ventura, San Bernardino and Riverside, although the were retired in 1961. http://www.usc.edu/libraries/archives/la/historic/redcars/
