  • SUMMARY OF ARTICLE: ARSENAL VS SHEFFIELD UNITED (SCENARIO) Sheffield player is injured and requires medical attention when the score is 1 All. Scenario of the game An Arsenal player tried tossing the ball to a Sheffield player for a fair play spirit. However, a new player in the team takes the ball and passes it to a teammate whom he scores a goal. 4
  • SUMMARY OF ARTICLE: ARSENAL VS SHEFFIELD UNITED (AFTER GAME) The Arsenal coach was unhappy with the way the team won the game. He thought that the way that the game won by Arsenal team was not right. He then offered the Sheffield team a match replay. Both team play their best and his (the coach) did not gain an unfair disadvantage over the opponent. Some people would play cheating to win, but there are people in which they will have the care to play fair! 5

  • DEFINITION: FAIR PLAY Fair play usually refers to Sportsmanship. Fair play refers to all participants having an Definition of fair play equitable chance to pursue victory and acting towards others in an honest, straightforward, and a firm and dignified manner even when others do not play fairly. Also used more widely to mean fairness and justice in contexts other than games. 7

  • WHY IS FAIR PLAY IMPORTANT? To ensure a fair playing field, everyone involved in sport must support the principles of fair play. The importance of fair play Fairness, Accomplishment, Integrity and Respect. Fair play provides everyone with the opportunity to do their best in a competition. 9
