In this presentation we will look at newsletter marketing, the cost and time required, along with the action plans, tips and additional consideration in running your campaign.
Introduction to newsletter marketing Newsletters are basically promotional emails that are sent on a regular basis to a group of subscribers. newsletters can be filled with articles, graphics, links, and photos and once it has a wide audience, advertising space can be sold to other advertisers.
Cost and timeframe The cost of putting together a newsletter includes the need to hire a designer or programmer, or to rent or buy a mailing list, if you don't have your own. Creating a newsletter can take a bit of time but using newsletter templates can cut down on the time by a good deal.
Action plan Finalize on the plan and format of your newsletter along with what messages you want to convey. Newsletter templates are readily available either free or at very low cost. Use of templates will save you a lot of time. You can follow unique ideas such as only posting 1/3rd piece in the newsletter and providing links to your website for accessing the entire story.
Tips and tactics Make sure your newsletters are precise and to the point. Short paragraphs that focus on just the primary benefit of your offering is the way to get most returns from your campaigns. Providing useful information about not just your product but also the industry will keep readers interested in your newsletters. Running contests, offering give aways, asking referrals are good ways to keep users engaged with your campaign.
Additional considerations A mass delivery mailer will allow you to import all the addresses from a database with just one click of mouse. An email delivery monitor will let you know which emails were delivered to inboxes and which ended up in junk folders. These two tools will save you lots of time and will make your campaign much more efficient.
We hope this video has answered key questions you have in mind. Incase you have further questions then please visit us at NextBee.com.
