Cost and timeframe At the moment, mobile ads are most costly than traditional online advertising methods. As it stands at the moment, results can be seen immediately, as far as traffic is concerned, but financial results may not follow until mobile advertising becomes more mainstream.
Execution details The main components of a mobile marketing campaign includes: designing a landing page, keyword research, writing ad copy, setting up the campaign, tracking and analyzing traffic and visitor behavior.
Tips Typically, you might only have 36 characters at your disposal, so getting the information across in a small message is of the utmost importance. Many advertisers are optimizing their websites specifically for mobile phones. Regular sites may not load properly on a cell phone, so creating an online identity just for this market may make good business sense.
Additional considerations In places like India and China, cell phone users are actually ahead of Westerners in how much they use their phones for internet use. So many businesses wishing to cater to these markets should be aware that their business may need to be developed with these areas in mind.
