    • However if you want to roll up your sleeves then we hope you enjoy this post.
    • Don't forget you can still hire us for ad-hoc work, when you require an expert, such as hiring us to roll-out a major upgrade.
    • We are the UK website team to work with and our years of experience, portfolio and results prove this.

    • So back to our first weekend project, and in this short project we are looking at creating a mixed website SEO campaign. So what exactly do we mean?
    • No search engine optimisation campaign should be reliant on one strategy.
    • You need a strong foundation, that hopefully is more resilient to search engine algorithm changes. In part one and two, we will cover a handful of different SEO techniques.
    • Keywords!
    • Do you know what keywords you are targeting?
    • If so, fantastic! If not please head on over to Google's Keyword Tool and do some homework.
    • Create a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel, LibreOffice Calc, Google Docs or another favourite spreadsheet app and note down your keywords, and the date you picked them.
    • Make sure you don't just pick popular keywords and focus on local results, rather than international, unless your website is aimed at the global market.
    • The reason why we suggest you note down the date, is that in the future you may wish to add or modify the list, and keeping track of changes is important.
    • Write two blog posts!
    • You could hire us to write your content, but if you want to do it yourself, then please spend an hour writing two blog posts. Many of you will be shocked by this. Not just one blog post in an hour, but two?
    • It is a hurdle that needs to be overcome by many, so spend just thirty minutes per post and don't go over 400 words, but no fewer than 250 words. Don't worry it will get easier over time.
    • Once you've written your first blog post, publish it. The second blog post if possible schedule to be published seven days from now.
    • That way you give yourself two weeks, until your next blog post. In reality you should be publishing more than one blog post per week, but its a beginning.
    • Conclusion
    • So between the keyword research and blog post writing, that is probably an hour or two taken care of! Which for many is enough for a weekend. If you want to do more during a weekend, please read part two, where we will look at using other techniques to create a more varied SEO strategy.
    • Hire a British search engine optimisation business .
    • Hire Neogain.
