  30. 30. <ul><li>Shri Aadya is registered with IGBC and aiming for a Gold rating. </li></ul><ul><li>Certain key decisions were taken by the design and construction teams to conceptualise a green building which instills a sense of environmental responsibility and ecological consciousness in young ones. </li></ul><ul><li>Reuse of resources and building material. </li></ul><ul><li>All virgin building materials used, have optimum recycled content as permitted by design and structural requirements. </li></ul><ul><li>All building materials are being procured from within an Eight hundred kilometer radius from the site to reduce energy spent on transportation. </li></ul><ul><li>Construction site has a commitment to “Zero waste management” during construction. </li></ul><ul><li>Alternative fuel transport (Compressed Natural Gas Buses) for all kids and teachers. </li></ul><ul><li>Building envelope, orientation, fenestrations and HVAC system are designed in collaboration to ensure minimization of energy requirement for thermal comfort. </li></ul><ul><li>Fenestrations are designed to let in maximum daylight to reduce energy requirement for lighting fixtures. </li></ul><ul><li>Zero waste water management plan. All grey water is reused for flushing and landscaping. </li></ul>GREEN AGENDA
  31. 31. GREEN AGENDA RESOURCE REUSE – Tar road at site was removed, transported to a nearby storage facility and brought back to be re-used as sub-base filling.
