    • Shri Aadya is registered with IGBC and aiming for a Gold rating.
    • Certain key decisions were taken by the design and construction teams to conceptualise a green building which instills a sense of environmental responsibility and ecological consciousness in young ones.
    • Reuse of resources and building material.
    • All virgin building materials used, have optimum recycled content as permitted by design and structural requirements.
    • All building materials are being procured from within an Eight hundred kilometer radius from the site to reduce energy spent on transportation.
    • Construction site has a commitment to “Zero waste management” during construction.
    • Alternative fuel transport (Compressed Natural Gas Buses) for all kids and teachers.
    • Building envelope, orientation, fenestrations and HVAC system are designed in collaboration to ensure minimization of energy requirement for thermal comfort.
    • Fenestrations are designed to let in maximum daylight to reduce energy requirement for lighting fixtures.
    • Zero waste water management plan. All grey water is reused for flushing and landscaping.

  • 31. GREEN AGENDA RESOURCE REUSE – Tar road at site was removed, transported to a nearby storage facility and brought back to be re-used as sub-base filling.
