Thanks for taking the time to view, and to comment upon, my presentation.

The presentation′s aim is to give an overview of what I consider to be the major issues affecting newspapers, and ’traditional/old’media, when dealing with the digital world (the so-called ’New Media’). I′ve tried to trace a route to ′get out of trouble′ by embracing social media, or more generally, a social attitude, for their business model.

This topic cannot, evidently, be discussed in 16 slides posted on Slideshare. The goal of the presentation was not to solve a business problem as complex as this one, or to give professional advice to anyone who is in this business category; (although, if you are interested in such a thing, I′m available to discuss it).

Also, I was trying, as an experiment, to use only the tools Powerpoint gives us - that is, to not import any photos, but to ’draw’ everything with the basic Powerpoint tools, and to refrain from producing a textual document.
