  • How to avoid bad powerpoint presentations
  • Form of Slide-bad • all of the text is in one giant paragraph, with out bulleted points so it is extremely hard to read. This slide could take up an entire screen and people just don’
  • Form of slides- good • Slides should contain 4-5 points each • points not written as sentences • 1-2 slides per minute of presentation
  • Background-Bad • A background like this makes it extremely hard to read the text on screen
  • Background-good • Use light backgrounds, to make text stand out • The audience should not be distracted by the background choice • use a consistent background for the whole presentation
  • Fonts - Bad • Fonts such as this make the presentation hard to read • and if they are really small it becomes even harder • CAPS ARE NOT OUR FRIENDS
  • Fonts - Good • Fonts should be simple such as Arial or Times New Roman • The title should be a larger font size • Use smaller font size for bullet points • Don’t use all caps
  • Speling and Grammar- Bad • mak sur ur speling and and and gramar is Carrect • repeated words should should be avoided
  • spelling and grammar- good • Spell checking and grammar checking is key to a good presentation • If you are not a native english speaker, or are not good at spelling
