      • 50% of annual emission cuts between now and 2020 achieved by green electricity
      • 40% of electricity used in 2020 from low carbon sources (30% from renewable, 10% from nuclear and clean coal)

      • 15% of annual emission cuts between now and 2020 achieved by making homes more energy efficient and supporting small scale renewable energy (29% reduction in household emissions)
      • £3.2b investment to make homes more energy efficient
      • Smart metering in every home by 2020

      • £25m low carbon vehicle demonstrator programme-trial 340 ultra low carbon vehicles across the UK
      • £10m-vehicle charging infrastructure (in addition to the already allocated £20m) in 6 cities/regions from next year
      • Financial assistance from 2011 to reduce cost of electric/plug-in hybrid cars.
      • 130g CO2/km by 2012
      • 95g CO2/km by 2020

      • £30m investment- 2009/10 and 2010/11 in low carbon bus technology
      • Inclusion of all flights arriving and departing from European airports (International & domestic) in the EU ETS from 2012
    13. Farming & Waste Sustainability
      • 5% of cuts between now and 2020 from decreased emissions from agriculture, land use & waste
      • Develop an advisory service to help farmers
      • Private funding for forest creation
      • Reduce waste sent to landfill
