You can find a list here: http://goo.gl/zC6gK • Do not use loud colours for the body text • Don’t use all capital letters in the subject line or other action words like CLICK HERE • Do not use explanation marks or any punctuation marks more than once in a row • Try not to use £££ • No RE or FWD in the subject line to trick people! • Do not attach bulky documents or zip files

    • 14. TIPS TO A GREAT EMAIL • If you have a high hard bounce rate, this could be sign you need to clean up your list for old emails • Soft bounces could mean that users are on vacation or their mailbox is full • Make sure to keep it simple, don’t overcomplicate with too many links. What do you want recipients to do? • Think carefully about the language you use, are you sounding too sales or maybe you are not interesting enough, have a friend read it over • Try to make sure your recepients remember you. Do this by sticking to your brand identity and remaining consistent in regularity and time of emails. Monday is a good day but every business is different so think about days you might be more busy in general. • Use graphics, Canva is a great tool but special occasions call for the use of a real designer!
    • 15. WHAT DO I DO NOW? • Go home and add an email subscription to your website or blog and start telling people to subscribe. • Finish off your emails and start sending regularly • Add me on LinkedIn and recommend this course to others!
