For a soon-to-be-born, the womb islike a home. Comfortable, safe,secure- and nurturing too. For ninelong months, it provides the babywith everything it needs to step putinto the big wide world outside… …. So let’s give that feeling to ourbaby that it is not the sex of the babywhich decides whether the womb willaccept the baby with loving arms orkill it
DOSST is the NEED of the HOUR seeingthe falling sex ration and its ill effects, its important that we all join our handsto prevent this social evil and make oursociety a healthy place to live in……… I would definitely request all presenthere to be a part of it and help DOSSTreach its zenith At last I would end by saying……. SAVE THE GIRL…. TO SAVE THE WORLD
Let us Join hands and pledge• To end pre birth elimination of females• All forms of gender discrimination• And make this world a better place to live….
Dear Dr. Neelam,Congratulations to you for organizing a workshop on PCPNDT act & MTP acton 3rd June at Ludhiana. And I also congratulate you on keeping theDOSST cell active. It is the time for us to keep on creating awareness regarding these actsamongst our members. It is important that we also should share the responsibility of self-regulation & more important this will give opportunity for ethicalpractitioners to stand up & be counted. At the same time due to eitherignorance of the law or not knowing implications of our small mistakeslike not filling of the forms; our members get in trouble unnecessarily. This workshop will provide them appropriate guidance. The appropriate authorities also should follow the code of conduct given inthe law & not look at every doctor as their enemy. Hence combinedworkshops like this will help putting together our might in fighting themain evil i.e. sex selected terminations.Wish you all the success !!Dr. Sanjay GuptePast president FOGSIConvener National PCPNDT cell FOGSI
