Brief presentation on the master thesis in Risk Management: Application of a supply chain risk management model to the mass fashion industry.
The thesis develops and applies a risk identification and analysis methodology that integrates widely adopted supply chain and risk management tools. In particular, process analysis is performed by means of the standard framework provided by the SCOR-Model, the risk identification and analysis tasks are accomplished by applying the RBS and the RBM, and the effects of risk occurrence on activities are assessed by Key Performance Indicators (KPI) :
- Identifying a specific ABS (Activities Breakdown Structure)
- Make use of the standard RBS (Risk Breakdown Structure) and adopt it to a specific industry.
- Building RBM (Risk Breakdown Matrix) matrixes. Associating KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to appropriate risk and activities.
- Studying the relationship between KPIs.
