Recent Statistics• There are now over 2.8 billion social media profiles, representing around half of all internet users worldwide• Facebook alone is slated to grow to 1 billion members by August 2012• 61% of Interbrand’s Top 100 brands are now signed up to Google+• Every 60 seconds, 1,090 visitors access Pinterest, 7,610 searches are made on Linked-In, 175,000 tweets are posted on Twitter, 700,000 Facebook messages are sent, and 2,000,000 videos are viewed on Youtube.
