  1. 1. Timeline Miki
  2. 2. Christopher Columbus• He was born in Italy in 1451.• I think he changed world because he discovered America, and he trade spice and gold. Now America is big and powerful country. A lot of people going to America.• He discovered Central America and part of South America. He travelled with small ships and he got new food and things from America.
  3. 3. Leonardo da Vinci• He was born in Italy 1452• I think he changed world, because he invented a lot of things, and we are using them today. For example, parachute, tank, and flying machine.• He invented a lot of machine like parachute, tank, flying machine, machine that use for war…
  4. 4. Nicholas Copernicus• He was born in Kingdom of Poland in 1473• I think he changed world because he found out that the Sun is in the middle of the Universe. But people didn’t believe him, however he improved his theory.• He discovered that the Sun is in the middle of the Universe, but he didn’t publish his thought. After he dead, his theory were published by his friend called Barnard Wapowski.
  5. 5. Michelangelo• He was born in Italy in 1475• I think he changed world because people is going to this chapel (that he drew picture) as a tour, and the picture is well known to the people. They looked inside the chapel and the picture, so people know about picture and Michelangelo.• He drew a picture on the Sistina chapel ceiling in the Vatican palace. He lay down and drew for 4 years.(1508-1512) Other than that he made a lot of sculpture.
  6. 6. Martin Luther• He was born in Germany in 1483• At that time, church (pope) told people that if they pay money, they going to heaven. All people believed church, but he thought church was wrong and nailed a paper with 95 theses. He was brave, because all people thought pope was right but he said he is still Christian, and he told pope "that is wrong", he started reformation.• He nailed the 95 theses that he thought wrong with a church. (1517)
  7. 7. Henry VIII• He was born in England in 1491• I think he changed world because he built his own church and now there are many kind of religions in the world. I think his action is related to the religions now.• He was a King who broke the mold (normal thing) Normally King listen to the popes but he against the church and he built own church in England.
  8. 8. Tokugawa Ieyasu• He was born in 1543 in Japan• I think he changed Japan because He governed Japan as one country. Before that all the areas were separated up and they opposition to each other and had wars.• He was a farmer and at last he became Kanpaku which is the emperor choose to a leader of the country. He unify the small area first and then he govern Japan in Azuchimomoyama Era. (1590)
  9. 9. Galileo Galilei• He was born in Italy in 1564• I think he changed world because now the Sun is in the middle is the normal thing. But I think he gave us chance to know that the Earth is turn around the Sun. He didnt change his mind even he put in jail. He stood up with his beliefs.• He told people that the Sun is in the middle of the Universe. But popes didnt believe him.
  10. 10. Johannes Kepler• He was born in Germany in 1571• I think he changed world because he had some mistakes, but at that time all people believed that the planets orbit is perfectly circle and other astronomy said there were 6 planets in the solar system. A lot of astronomies were saying different things, but he said that did he believed.• At that time popes and people thought the planets orbit is perfectly circle. But Johannes said some of the orbits are oval or crooked circle. He also said there are 2 satellite around the Mars and Jupiter has 4 satellite. But it has more than 4.
  11. 11. Isaac Newton• He was born in England in 1642• I think he changed world because before Newton find the gravity, Kepler discovered about it, and Newton find the connection between Keplers believes and his discovery. So now we can know about the both of thoughts.• He found out the gravity by seeing the apple failed down from the tree. But about the gravity was already discovered by Kepler and he thought "the Sun is related to the Earths gravity". Newton connect the gravity and Keplers believes
