    Office
    Sharepoint
    Windows Server
    Windows Upgrades
    Exchange
  • 13. Software Assurance
Free upgrades to Microsoft software for 2 years from the donation date
E.g. Request Office 2007 today and you will be able to upgrade to Office 2010 when it is released
  • 14. Key Tips
Register to find out which programmes a charity qualifies for
Reading the eligibility guidelines helps but the only definitive answer comes through registration
The donors run separate programmes, they don’t all work the same way.
Read the blurb on each programme you are interested in before you start
Work out what you need from each donor over the next twelve months/two years before you make a request
The donors are inflexible on the cycle
    Weigh up all the options
A charity that only wants one copy of Office [at the moment] may be better off getting in through a Select programme provider
Fulfilment is direct from the donor, CTX don’t stock product so you should factor this in to any planning
  • 15. The eXchange
Community site for organisations registered with CTX
Sharing of information and materials on technology relevant to UK charities
Input from donors and others with technical knowledge and sector experience
Groups focussed on specific technology and mission related topics
