    2. 2. Neighborhood Commercial Revitalization <ul><li>The purpose of the NCR Program is to promote the revitalization of neighborhood commercial districts by attracting consumers, private sector investment and spending to each commercial district. </li></ul>
    3. 3. NCR Goals <ul><li>Empower community groups to restore productivity of underutilized urban retail and business areas. </li></ul><ul><li>Improve the physical appearance of each commercial district. </li></ul><ul><li>Retain and expand existing businesses while recruiting new businesses. </li></ul><ul><li>Promote the districts as destinations for shopping, entertainment, and dining activities </li></ul>

Operation Facelift Grant Program <ul><li>Up to $15,000 Matching Grant for Exterior Improvements </li></ul><ul><li>Requirements: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Must be an existing building located in an NCR District </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Non Residential Land Use </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>CDBG-eligible </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Owner permission </li></ul></ul>
    6. 7. Operation Facelift <ul><li>Façade Improvement Grant; Matching up to $15,000 for eligible improvements </li></ul><ul><li>Application </li></ul><ul><li>Bids (3 bids; Over $25,000 Formal Bid Process) </li></ul><ul><li>Scope of work </li></ul>

Operation Facelift <ul><li>Eligible Improvements: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Paint, Wood Replacement, Windows, Doors, Re-roofing, Awnings, Signage, Fencing, Masonry </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Ineligible Improvements: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>HVAC, Electrical, Landscaping, Asphalt, Sign alone, Roof alone, Interior work </li></ul></ul>
