Multimedia Resource Focuses on Risk Management, Technology and Other Compliance-Related Issues Facing In-house Legal Departments.

The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), a global bar association representing more than 33,000 in-house counsel in 85 countries, recently launched a series of thought leadership interviews to provide ethics and compliance resources to ACC members. Developed in collaboration with ethics and compliance solution provider NAVEX Global, the video interviews encompass a variety of key compliance issues and feature chief legal officers, general counsel and compliance officers.

The resource highlights trending compliance topics and focuses on approachable methods seasoned executives have successfully applied to manage and mitigate risk, and to build better workplace cultures. As a multimedia feature within the ACC Compliance Portal, an enhanced tool developed last year to focus on global and cross-border issues related to general business, data privacy and other legal matters, the series features in-house counsel and compliance professionals discussing topics such as:

Emerging ethics and compliance trends;
Impact of globalization and consequent challenges and opportunities;
Creating a global ethics and compliance program;
Third-party business partners and mitigating related compliance risks;
How compliance professionals can build strong partnerships with business leaders;
Engaging business teams to ensure the effectiveness of a compliance program;
How negative perceptions can affect a compliance program;
Use of technology to optimize compliance and ethics training;
The importance of measuring the effectiveness of a compliance program.
