Last month the Triple AAA of Michigan shocked Michigan Credit Unions; announcing that they were shutting down their Credit Union Group Auto & Home insurance program immediately. The announcement has sent shock waves through credit unions across the region that invited members to shop for Auto and Home insurance through the AAA program. Today, the program is shut down, Triple AAA owns the member, the policy and a valuable relationship, and credit unions have no recourse. From CUNA’s Trustage to the Travelers Direct programs – we will dig into the risks of single carrier offerings.

We will explore:
• Insurance carriers have constantly changing risk appetites that you must understand and avoid wherever possible.
• Where are your most significant risks for product availability.
• Specific steps you can take to mitigate and eliminate third party product availability risk.

This is the sixth installment of the Insuritas E-commerce Learning Series.

Presented by Insuritas and NAFCU Services, this webinar is offered at no cost to the credit union community.
