    • Instructor-Led Training Instructor-Led Training Education is the cornerstone on which Ascensus was founded. Ascensus currently trains about 12,000 industry professionals each year and works with numerous credit union leagues and associations, as well as other training organizations. All of Ascensus’ instructor-led training programs are taught by experienced and knowledgeable instructors who allow for feedback and questions, and who deliver programs that suit the needs of attendees in an understandable format. Meet just a few of Ascensus’ instructors. Paul Kern Paul Kern is responsible for conducting IRA training programs to meet the needs of credit unions and leagues nationwide. He develops, designs, and implements a number of products, including custom in-house seminars associated with implementation projects. Chad Neumann Chad Neumann is the project manager for IRA Supertrain®. He is responsible for the evaluation, analysis, design, development, and delivery of IRA Supertrain each year. He also participates on numerous project teams including those that propose forms revisions and IRAdirect® changes. Deborah Shipman Debbie Shipman is the project manager for Ascensus’ credit union IRA workshop tours and in-house training programs, as well as the Ascensus Trainer Toolkit. Her responsibilities include the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of these curriculums. Ben Maas Ben Maas is the project manager for IRA University and internal training. He is responsible for implementing new employee and ongoing training for Ascensus’ IRA Services staff. Fred Volkman Fred Volkman is the project manager for IRAdirect® compliance and the IRAdirect training environment.
