Introduction For our project, we have decided to investigate the sales of a local bookstore From our investigation, we will attempt to improve the sales in any way possible; As well as the customer service
Questionnaire We have decided to do a small survey to the public before we start to investigate the sales of the book store in order to get a better understanding Our questionnaire had 13 questions with multiple choice answers and we have given them to 40 people so far
Findings With the questionnaire providing an understanding about the sales We observed the sales of the book store for a week starting from the 23rd to 29th September And at the end of the day, we interviewed a member of the staff for a rough estimate of their sales for that day Here are our findings:
Analysis In Week 2, there is an increase in revenue from Week 1 The sales for Week 3 is lower than the rest This shows that the revenue for the sales needs an improvement Out of 40 samples. 15 samples answered that the book store needs improvement.
Conclusion The Bookstore have made a reasonable amount of profit; But 38% of our samples do not think that the bookstore is a satisfactory in terms of their services We recommend that the employees need to be inform more about the various kinds of books found in the bookstore.
