  • 1. Decorative Design applied ornamentation to an object, can be separated without destroying the object
  • 2. Naturalistic/Realistic • Comes from nature, looks absolutely real, all details included, looks like a photograph
  • 3. Conventional/Stylized • Uses designs from nature in a simplified or adapted way, and abstract.
  • 4. Abstract• No set, followed or repeated pattern • Inspiration is not recognizable
  • 5. Geometric • decoration is made up of geometric shapes or stripes
  • 6.
