  • 6. IT’S WHERE THE ZOO’S PLANT NURSERY WAS, AND THIS IS WHERE OUR ENCLOSURES ARE TODAY.
  • 7. ‘ CHERRY’ & ‘CHANTELLE’ LIVED WITH WHISTLER.
  • 8. ‘ RODNEY’ ENJOYED LAYING AROUND UNDER THE OLD CLOTHES-LINE . . .

  • 20. THE LEAF OUT AREA WAS IN-BETWEEN.

  • 69. GAIL HAD A ROOM OFF THE LUNCH AREA BIG ENOUGH FOR A BED, A COMPUTER TABLE . . . AND ‘RENO.’

    • THE OTHER ROOM WAS USED FOR OPERATING AND STORAGE PURPOSES . IT CONTAINED AN ANIMAL AND VOLUNTEER FRIDGE AND A REPTILE RECOVERY/CAGE AREA .
    THERE WERE TWO SMALL ROOMS OFF THE LUNCH ROOM.
    • A PASTE PREPARATION SPACE TO THE LEFT OF GAIL’S ROOM, WHICH WAS ALSO A
    • X-RAY DEVELOPMENT AREA , STORAGE CUPBOARD AND WORM/CRICKET BREEDING AREA .
  • 71. THROUGH THE EVERYTHING ROOM WAS ANOTHER DOOR LEADING TO THE LAUNDRY/AUTO-CLAVE/TOILET/SHOWER AND STORAGE . HERE’S PAULINE MAKING LEAF PASTE.
  • 72. THE LAUNDRY.
  • 73. THERE IS A POOL (on the zoo grounds) WHERE VOLUNTEERS COULD SWIM OUT TO BRING TURTLES IN FOR FOOD AND MEDICATION.
