3. 3. Pencils  Different types of pencil are used for drawing lighter and darker lines  Drawings are usually done with a 2H pencil
4. 4. Drawings  Drawings give enough information to allow an object to be made  Drawings include measurements  Sketches are also used to give information on a drawing sheet
5. 5. Scales  Scales reduce or enlarge the measurements evenly, so that the proportions of the object stay the same  Full size measurements are written on the drawing  The scale is also written as a ratio on the drawing
