1. What is an entrepreneur? An entrepreneur is a person who comes up with a new enterprise, venture or idea. Entrepreneurs accept the financial risks and are responsible for the outcome of the product/ business. An entrepreneur brings together the 4 factors of production – Land, Labour, Capital and Enterprise.

3. Estee Lauder Estee Lauder was born Josephine Esther Mentzer in 1908 and grew up in Queens, New York. Her father owned a hardware store, above which the family lived. Lauder's uncle, John Schotz, came to live with the family. He specialised in making his own "secret" skin-care products, Schotz set up a makeshift laboratory in the tiny stable behind the Mentzer's house and began concocting his creams with young Estee at his side. "I recognized in my Uncle John my true path. I watched and learned.” In 1933, Lauder continued to refine and improve her uncle's creams, cooking up concoctions on her kitchen stove.
4. Leslie Scott. Leslie Scott was born on the 18th of December 1955 in Tanzania. She was educated in Uganda, Kenya, Sierra Leone and England. Leslie Scott is married to the Oxford zoologist, Professor Fritz Vollrath whom with she has 2 children. She is the recipient of the 2010 Wonder Women of Toys Inventor/Designer Award. Scott launched the game she named and trademarked as 'Jenga' at the London Toy Fair in January 1983 the game was based on a game that evolved within her family in the early 1970s using children's wood building blocks the family purchased from a sawmill in Takoradi, Ghana.
5. J.K.Rowling J.K Rowling was born in Chipping Sodury, July 31st 1965. It was in 1990, that J.K.Rowling first had the idea about Harry Potter. As she recalls, it was on a long train journey from London to Manchester when she began forming in her mind, the characters of the series. Also in 1990 J.K.Rowling lost her mother. Her own loss gave was the reasoning that Harry Potter’s mother is dead in the books. The first book was published in 1996. J.K.Rowling went on to write 7 more books in the series and 8 films were made based on the books
6. Jacqueline Gold Jacqueline Gold (born 16 July 1960) is a British business woman, and is currently Chief Executive of the Gold Group International companies Ann Summers and Knickerbox. She is the 16th richest woman in Britain. Her father ran a publishing business which was responsible for bringing sex magazines to the high street.Shortlisted London Entrepreneur of the Year 2001, Shortlisted Nat Business Awards Entrepreneur of the Year 2003, Business Communicator of the Year 2004
