Vera Wang<br /><ul><li>Vera Wang trained as a figure skater while in high school but when she failed to make the Olympic team she entered the fashion business, working for Vogue.
Vera Wang was promoted to senior fashion editor where she held the tile for 15 years, after which she left to be a design director for accessories at Ralph Lauren.
She then sketched her own bridal wear commissioning a dressmaker to tailor the expensive gown at $10,000.
The following year with some financial support she opened her own bridal boutique catering mostly to celebrities and socialites.
Vera Wang eventually launched a signature collection of streamlined and sophisticated bridal wear.</li></li></ul><li>Bill Gates<br /><ul><li>Bill Gates is the former chairman of Microsoft which he founded with Paul Allen.
He is now ranked as one of the worlds wealthiest men
At school he took interest in programming he was excused from his math class to pursue this interest
Bill Gates wrote his first computer programme, implementation of tic-tack-toe
When his talent of programming was recognised he was asked to write the school’s computer programme to schedule students into classes.
He modified the code that he was in a class with mostly female students
Bill Gates enrolled into Harvard but dropped out within a year after which he started to form Microsoft.</li></li></ul><li>Gordon Moore<br /><ul><li>Gordon Moore co-founded Intel corporation in 1968, serving as Executive Vice President until 1975 where he became President and Chief Executive Officer.
He had the intention of developing and producing large scale integrated products beginning with the semiconductor memories.
Shortly thereafter Intel moved on to create the world’s first microprocessor.
He became Chairman of the Board in 1987, he currently serves as the Chairman Emeritus.
He is now the retired Chairman Emeritus, co-founder and former chairman and CEO of Intel corporation.</li>
