Reflexive object pronouns (ROP) reflect the subject. <ul><li>Subject + ROP + Verb </li></ul><ul><li>Je me repose. </li></ul><ul><li>Tu te reposes. </li></ul><ul><li>Il/Elle/On se repose. </li></ul><ul><li>Nous nous reposons. </li></ul><ul><li>Vous vous reposez. </li></ul><ul><li>Ils/Elles se reposent. </li></ul>
  • 3. Passé Compose <ul><li>In the passé composé reflexive verbs use </li></ul><ul><li>ÊTRE as their helping verb. </li></ul><ul><li>They like their reflections and are just as snooty as DR & Mrs Vandertrampp!! </li></ul>
  • 4. Passé Compose <ul><li>Like Dr. & Mrs. Vandertrampp, your past participle must agree with your subject… </li></ul><ul><li>UNLESS the verb is followed by a BODY PART ! </li></ul><ul><li>Elle s’ est lavé e . </li></ul><ul><li>Elle s’ est lavé les cheveux . </li></ul>
