I do notneed a USB thumb drive and I never once needed tothink about pushing "save". I was able to instantly sharethis with my proof-reader even before I was donecreating it, and whenever I have an idea and I want toadd to this presentation, I can pull out my phone and doit, or ask my proof-reader to do it for me. :-) I ♥ Google Docs!
