One Word Change and The New World Order “ Moving Mormons towards the Mark”

Book of Mormon Teaches :

“ Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believe founder Joseph Smith unearthed a set of gold plates from a hill in upper-state New York in 1827 and translated the ancient text into English. The account, known as The Book of Mormon, tells the story of two Israelite civilizations living in the New World. One derived from a single family who fled from Jerusalem in 600 B.C. and eventually splintered into two groups, known as the Nephites and Lamanites .” (Salt Lake Tribune, 11-08-07)

Lamanites are from Israel .

The book's current introduction, added by the late LDS apostle, Bruce R. McConkie in 1981, includes this statement: "After thousands of years, all were destroyed except the Lamanites , and they are the principal ancestors of the American Indians ."

Changed to “Among the Ancestors ”

The new version, seen first in Doubleday's revised edition, reads, "After thousands of years, all were destroyed except the Lamanites, and they are among the ancestors of the American Indians."

The Fact Is :

Both Statements are True : Which is Why the LDS Leadership could legitimately change the sentence without changing the doctrine.

It just depends on how far back we go when we we refer to Ancestors of the American Indians/Lamanites.

A Few Historical Facts :

The Original Lamanites were all but exterminated by the Europeans. Only 10% of North American and South American Indians survived the “new epidemics” from the old world; as well as military conquest. Many died in the Silver and Gold mines of South America. Others died from malaria working English plantations.

Many That Were Left :

Rape and Conquest often go together. Ireland got its “red heads” from the Vikings. (Eric the Red ).

As For Genetics :

Genes are influenced by Environmental Factors and can be corrupted by something as simple as a virus; the use of tobacco; other diseases.

Leave a Picasso in the rain for a couple thousand years and then try to identify its origins.

The Book of Mormon Claims :

That two groups, the Lamanites and the Nephites, are from the tribes of Joseph (Ephraim and Manasah).

That one other group, “The Mulekites”, came from the Tribe of Judah through the Royal Seed of Zedekiah.

The Problem is :

Northern Israel was destroyed By Assyria and scattered throughout the world (Europe and Asia)

That Judah (The Jews) were taken into Babylon and later decimated by the Romans by Titus around 60 AD.

As For Genetic History

How do you prove that European traits in the American Indian came before the European Conquests of North and South America ? You would need a set of genes that are before 1492 (Columbus) to prove they are not.

The sample group tested for Israelite genes are all from the 20 th Century or later!

Lets make it Even More Complicated :

Converted en mass to Judaism . This further complicates the argument that you can have a “fair” sample of Europe, Asia or the rest of the world. If anything, you could argue that the Biblical Prophecy of Abraham that his seed would be numberless means…

“ Pure-Blood or Mud-Blood ”

Every Nation of Europe would have genetic materials from either the Northern tribes of Israel (scattered by Assyria ); or the Khazars and literal descendants of the Jews scattered by Rome.

It is virtually impossible to find anyone alive on the earth today that is not a “mud-blood” to one degree or another.

Which is Why the Church Spokesman Could Say :

The change "takes into account details of the Book of Mormon demography which are not known ," LDS spokesman Mark Tuttle said Wednesday . So, “Why Bother Changing ?”

Mormon researcher John M. Butler and DNA expert further argues that "careful examination and demographic analysis of the Book of Mormon record in terms of population growth and the number of people described implies that other groups were likely present in the promised land when Lehi's family arrived, and these groups may have genetically mixed with the Nephites, Lamanites, and other groups. Events related in the Book of Mormon likely took place in a limited region, leaving plenty of room for other Native American peoples to have existed."

Possibility #1

The Neo-con Politicians that own KSL and the Deseret News/Salt Lake Tribune pushed for the change to further discredit the Book of Mormon and make the Church more “acceptable” to other Christians.

Rationale

The Book of Mormon stands in the way of “One World Religion” as advocated by the Neo-cons, who get their marching orders from Rockefeller moneyed interests .

Look what they did to the Restored Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, which now denies Joseph Smith and the doctrines of the Book of Mormon.
