  • 2. They Say Things Are Booming!
    • The Dow has gone from:
    • 8000 in 2002
    • To Over 14,000 in Summer 2007!
    • That’s a gain of 6,000!
    • Or a 75% Increase!
  • 3. But They Don’t Tell You…
    • The Index only contains the stock of 30 publicly traded companies!
    • That when a company does poorly it is replaced by one that does better.
    • There are more than 15,000 publicly traded companies out there!
  • 4. The Other Indexes Tell a Different Story:
    • The S&P 500 was at 1,552 in 2000
    • It sunk to a low of 815 in 2001
    • It has just reached its 2000 high this year (2007)!
    • Poorly performing stocks have also been replaced!
  • 5. Remember the Nasdaq?
    • With a high of over 5100 in 2000?
    • Dropped to 1160 in 2002.
    • That was a 77% loss!!
    • Its at about 2600 in 2007.
    • ONLY HALF of its 2000 Value!
  • 6. How About The Dollar?
    • It was at about 120 on the dollar index in January of 2002.
    • It was at about 80 in June, 2007!
    • That means its worth 66 cents today!
    • That means its lost 34% of its value in the last 5 Years.
    • And its getting worse!
  • 7. And Gasoline?
    • $1.37 a gallon in 2002.
    • Over 3.00 per gallon in 2007!
    • More than 20% inflation per year!
  • 8. No Wonder There’s a Bubble

    • Look for 1 year food supply on-line.
    • Start with basics like grains and beans.

    • Add Powdered Eggs.
    • Make Sure You Store Water to drink!
    • Add Dehydrated Fruits etc.
  • 18. Buy Guns For Protection…
    • Pistols for intruders. Look at the 45 calibur with a clip. Buy additional ammo.
    • Rifle for food.
    • Shotgun for Protection.
    • Get “trigger locks” and gun safe.
    • Learn how to clean em and use them.
  • 19. Buy fuel for warmth and cooking…
    • Store Hard-Wood in back yard for heat. Buy from landscapers.
    • Charcoal for food. Buy by the bag.
    • Candles for Lighting.
  • 20. Buy Boots and Warm Clothing.
    • Blankets and warm clothing mean less heat from fires.
  • 21. Buy a Tent or RV.
    • Just in case you have to move to a safer neighborhood.
  • 22. Organize your Neighbors/Friends
    • Pass this on.
    • Put together a Meeting Place that everyone knows how to get to. Pretend they have to walk to get their.
