The Happy Rainbow - Presentation

  1. 1. Samrita Matharu, Jodie-Ann King, Katy Edge, Molly Betts
  2. 2. In our movie there will be advertising done within it and for it. By this we mean that there will be adverts on the sides of buses, bus stops and on TV etc. Within the movie we will have characters such as Shrek and various other famous characters from other movies/TV shows that will help promote the movies from which they originate from. This will help by the companies maybe paying a bit of money towards our film company as their material is being featured. Sometimes it can be reversed and we shall have to pay for the use of their work. Advertising throughout cities costs money varying the country.
  3. 3. We were considering asking Disney and Pixar if we could use some of their well known characters in our film, but after some research we found out we weren’t able to afford or even use some of the Disney characters. We were thinking about using Woody and Buzz out of Disney’s Toy Story, Shrek, and many others, but we decided that it would cost much more than our budget to use these well known characters in out film. We will be using unknown child actors, and maybe some famous adult actors as we want to find new talent and show a little differentiation and uniqueness within our cast.
  4. 4. The location of the film will mostly be made on paint due to the lack of money, as the film is cartoon it will fit in well, being animated. If we do have enough money we can buy some software for the computer which will make the backgrounds and location 3D, or 2D which also is animated and not just a plain background.
  5. 5. For our film we will be using • 2D computing animation • 3D computing animation • Computers We have quite a low budget for the film so we may not be able to afford all of this equipment
  6. 6. In our movie there will be no use of props during acting because it is an animation. If it was using real life actors, it would use children’s toys and household objects that children can relate to. For the girl characters, there would probably be stereotypical pink, glittery and girly props used i.e. Handbags. For the boys, it would be more sports, insects and science i.e. football, magnifying glasses.
  7. 7. On average a film editor makes around $500,000 per movie, for our film we have a budget of about £25 million, so the amount the editor will want/require shouldn’t be a problem.
  8. 8. These are the people that will write our film and will get 10% of the profits. We will be getting someone who we know will write a script that will appeal to the audience. We will get a script writer that we know will produce a good film.
  9. 9. All of our own work will have to be copyrighted so it isn’t copied by other companies, whereas the characters used in our movie that have been incorporated from other films, will have their own copyrights that we would need to take into account. Credit for other people’s music if that is used will have to be shown, as well as the ending credits should have everyone’s name written there who have worked on the movie, even the smallest part.
  10. 10. I have found a good transportation company on the internet who offer… A fast, efficient and reliable service The best rates for a cost effective solution 24 Hours per Day, 7 Days per Week, 365 Days per Year, at short notice Cash in hand or account payments are welcome. One-off or regular transport services No Hidden Fees Furthermore our transportation service, offers much more: Vehicles fitted with rails to transport costumes Location cleaning services, waste collection and disposal Drivers who are happy to help out, not only with loading and unloading Urgent Props Collection and Return; Last minute collection and delivery; Equipment Collection
  11. 11. This film is a cartoon therefore will not be needing costumer and makeup however the presentation of the characters will be important, we will do this by either making the outfits for the unknown characters or if we use character that already have a costume we will not need to do this.
  12. 12. We will not need any stunt men as we are doing an animated film. The film is for infants so we won’t need any stunts as it wouldn’t be appropriate.
