  1. 2.2.1 Business - to - Business (B2B) Website following B2B business model sells its product to an intermediate buyer who then sells the product to the final customer. As an example, a wholesaler places an order from a company's website and after receiving the consignment, sells the end product to final customer who comes to buy the product at wholesaler's retail outlet. Tesco.my does not have this model yet. However, some businesses like restaurant uses the service offered by Tesco.my to save time and cost of getting the groceries by themselves. It is usually done by small businesses like café and restaurant because the price does not be affected even when buying in bulks. So, large businesses usually will not go to this site since there are better offer like warehouses which provide economies of scale on bundle purchases. Wholesalers, such as parts of AliBaba’s model or manufacturers of original products, will typically sell B2B. 2.2.2 Business - to - Consumer(B2C) Website following B2C business model sells its product directly to a customer. A customer can view products shown on the website of business organization. Tesco.my are ones where a retailer sells directly to a consumer. For example, you might buy your groceries directly from Tesco.my. In Tesco.my the customer can choose a product and order. Tesco website will send a notification to the ones who processed the order via email and it will dispatch the product/goods to the customer and it will be send to your home. Online retail stores, often called e-tailers, come in all sizes and shapes, from Tesco.my to tiny local stores that have Web sites. E-tailers are similar to the typical physical storefront, except that customers only have to connect to the Internet to check their inventory and place an order. Tesco.my is considered an E-tailer or virtual merchant where it is an online version of retail store, where customers can shop at any hour of the day or night without leaving their home or office just like Walmart.com where it is an online distribution channel that has physical stores. The e-tail Tesco revenue model is product-based, with customers paying for the purchase of a particular item. This sector is extremely competitive, however no competitors existed like Tesco.my in Malaysia at the moment. Becoming profitable and surviving is very difficult for Tesco since they have no experience in the industry. However, they are successful because of that they develop a niche strategy in targeting their target market and its needs. There are also other business models that Tesco.my is not a part of like portal, content provider, transaction broker, market creator, service provider and community provider

Although social networking is possible in person, especially in the workplace, universities, and high schools, it is most popular online. This is because the internet contains millions of individuals who are looking to meet other people, to gather and share first-hand information and experiences about gardening, developing friendships professional alliances, finding employment, business-to-business marketing and even groups sharing information about baking cookies to the Thrive Movement. The topics and interests are as varied as you cannot count it. When it comes to online social networking, websites are commonly used. These websites are known as social sites. Social networking websites function like an online community of internet users. Depending on the website in question, of these online community members share common interests in hobbies, religion, politics and alternative lifestyles. Once you are granted access to a social networking website you can begin to socialize. Social networking often involves grouping specific individuals or organizations together. The websites without a main focus are often referred to as "traditional" social networking websites and usually have open memberships. This means that anyone can become a member, no matter what their hobbies, beliefs, or views are. However, once you are inside this online community, you can begin to create your own network of friends and eliminate members that do not share common interests or goals. The friends that you can make are just one of the benefits to social networking online. Another one of those benefits includes diversity because the internet gives individuals from all around the world access to social networking sites. One way that Tesco.my gain customer is by word of mouth from social network like Facebook.             How social networking has changed our life? During the last ten years, social networks have evolved from simple communication hubs to veritable agents of change; galvanizing thousands of people over political discourse, creating and changing industries, and all in all, transforming people’s lives. Just couple of years back, many people dismissed Facebook as a place for kids to share their rants/pictures. Today, more than 600 million users worldwide are active on this website. Approximately 200 million people are active on twitter, another 100 million use LinkedIn.  None of these social networks even excited at the beginning of the decade. While these figures may be mere numbers for many people, the impact of social network goes far and deep. Here are a few areas in which social networks have had lasting and arguably permanent effects. Marketing and Advertising Marketing and advertising are transforming themselves from industries reliant on mass market channels to those that must embrace the power of the customer, and attempt to engage in conversations with them. Often, a “middle man” (such as news paper reporter) ultimately determined that what was written or said. The ability to bypass gatekeepers and facilitate direct interactions with consumers and communities is very important.   The Future With Google+ being launched recently, it is clear that all technology giants have realized the critical role that social networks will lay in shaping our lives. It is no longer about implementing the latest, cutting edge technology; it is about how seamlessly and organically a social network merges in our lives, and affects every aspect of it. The lines between real and virtual lives have now blurred to the extent of becoming invisible.

After George Middle School in Portland, OR introduced a social media program to engage students, grades went up by 50%, chronic absenteeism went down by 33%, and 20% of students school-wide voluntarily completed extra-credit assignments. Social networking sites allow people to improve their relationships and make new friends. Adult social networking users visit the sites to connect with friends and family, and increased online communication strengthens relationships. While teens use social media report that using the sites has helped their relationships with friends, report that social media helps them stay in touch with friends they cannot see regularly, report getting to know students at their school better, and make new friends. Social media sites help employers find employees and job-seekers find work. Some companies that are on two or more social networks for recruiting is because of the wider pool of applicants and more efficient searching capabilities. Some job recruiters have hired employees through LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. Many of the job-seekers credit social media for helping find their current job. Corporations and small businesses use social media to benefit themselves and consumers. Small businesses benefit greatly from the free platforms to connect with customers and increase visibility of their products or services. Almost 90% of big companies using social media have reported "at least one measurable business benefit." For example, large chain restaurants are using social media to quickly disseminate information to managers, train employees, and receive immediate customer feedback on new items, allowing for quick revision if needed. Con Social media enables the spread of unreliable and false information. Many of people have heard false news via social media. for example is on Sep. 5, 2012 false rumors of fires, shootouts, and caravans of gunmen in a Mexico City suburb spread via Twitter and Facebook caused panic, flooded the local police department with over 3,000 phone calls, and temporarily closed schools. Some of users spread false information in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy by tweeting that the New York Stock Exchange was flooding and that the power company would cut off electricity to all of Manhattan; the bogus information was picked up by national news outlets including CNN and the Weather Channel. Social networking sites lack privacy and expose users to government and corporate intrusions. 13 million users said they had not set or did not know about Facebook's privacy settings and shared all or nearly all of their posts publicly. The US Justice Department intercepted 1,661 pieces of information from social networking sites and e-mails in 2011. The 2009 IRS training manual teaches agents to scan Facebook pages for information that might "assist in resolving a taxpayer case. Students who are heavy social media users tend to have lower grades. Students who use social media had an average GPA of 3.06 while non-users had an average GPA of 3.82 and students who used social networking sites while studying scored 20% lower on tests. College students’ grades dropped 0.12 points for every 93 minutes above the average 106 minutes spent on Facebook per day. Two-thirds of teachers believe that social media does more to distract students than to help academically. The Sep. 2, 2014 Learning Habit study published in the American Journal of Family Therapy found that grades began a steady decline after secondary school students reached 30 minutes of daily screen time (time spent using an electronic device such as a computer or mobile phone). After four hours of screen time, average GPAs dropped one full grade. Social networking sites entice people to waste time. One of a surveyed listed social networking as the "biggest waste of time," above fantasy sports , watching TV , and shopping. When alerted to a new social networking site activity, like a new tweet or Facebook message, users take 20 to 25 minutes on average to return to the original task. In some cases, it took two hours to fully return attention to the original task. American Internet users play games like Farmville or Mafia Wars on social networking sites. Social media causes people to spend less time interacting face-to-face. Center for the Digital Future at the USC Annenberg School study found that the percentage of people reporting less face-to-face time with family in their homes. It is reported using social media or texting during meals instead of talking with family and friends.
