April 2010 Company Profile Mobileye is a pioneer in the development of vision-based Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), providing data for applications such as Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning, Headway Monitoring, Pedestrian Detection, High Beam Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Adaptive Cruise Control and more. Founded in 1999, Mobileye is recognized as the leader in intelligent transportation, and has been selected by major automotive companies worldwide for their production vehicles. To date, Mobileye’s technology has been launched by BMW 5-Series, 6-Series, 7-Series, Volvo S80, XC70 and V70 models, and Buick Lucerne, Cadillac DTS and STS. Mobileye’s mission is to develop vision systems for accident reduction and driver assistance. These systems work as a third eye for the driver by supporting the driver in performing routine driving tasks (e.g., distance keeping, adaptive cruise control) and provide timely warnings (e.g., lane departure warning, forward collision warning) in dangerous situations. Studies in the U.S. and Europe show that providing an early warning in case of an imminent collision dramatically reduces accidents and casualties. However, the limited application of standard systems available today (based on Radar and LIDAR sensors) and the high price has hindered widespread adoption in the market. Mobileye’s EyeQ™ vision-system-on-a-chip represents a technological breakthrough combining high performance, low cost and the consolidation of multiple applications on a single platform and is positioned to revolutionize driver assistance systems on a mass scale. Mobileye’s EyeQ and software is being integrated by leading Tier-1 suppliers including Delphi, Continental/SiemensVDO, Magna Electronics, Leopold Kostal GmbH, TRW Automotive and Magneti Marelli Sistemi Elettronici. Mobileye’s consumer product line, Mobileye C2® (Collision Prevention Systems), contains features already in OEM production and new customer features to be launched by OEMs in the future. Mobileye C2 is sold worldwide as the safety solution of choice for passenger cars and commercial fleets. Mobileye is the recipient of several prestigious awards including the Red Herring Top 100 Innovators Award and the Frost & Sullivan 2006 Entrepreneurial Company of the Year Award in the Automotive Industry. This recognition signifies the company's identification of a unique and revolutionary product solution with significant market potential. Mobileye N.V. is headquartered in the Netherlands, with a research and development center in Jerusalem, Israel, and sales and marketing offices in Los Angeles, California; Detroit, Michigan; Nicosia, Cyprus and Tokyo, Japan.
