Thanks for coming…. I’ll share with all of you a high level overview about Microsoft´s mobile thinking, its strategy and targetsFor that don’t worry I’ve a very short presentation with only 4 slides + a very funny video.Lets go then to what we pretend around the mobile business (slide 2)
Microsoft offers a very large amount of possibilities and communication services on the Internet Some of them quite popular in our market, such as Windows Live Messenger & Hotmail , MSN (total on line internet > 1 of each 5 minutes Microsoft)So as you can see, our compromise is to bring all those possibilities to the mobile.Mobile business is a complicated environment, where there are many actors… (Telcos, handset manufactures, service providers…)For that, would like to show you how we’ve done our homework, and what we’ve learned for reach the objective…

Operator friendly strategy, going together on the proposal to the customers. OEM partnerships allowing to reach all the mobile community. Of course by offering the possibility of an Operating System (Windows Mobile with all the services and features enabled).
1 – First we’ve learned, is that the services mobilization has to be offered related with a full flat data plan.2- We’ve learned too: What consumers are requesting is an easy way to access and use all the mobile services experience y a single package.3- We know to that users demands what they are used to have, and what knows from the internet.4- We’ve quite clear too that we need to be open-minded to different business models that allow all of us to make profitable the mobilization.5- And the last lesson learned and more long/medium term oriented, is the advertising model for mobile… like on the internet where we’re working with this model on services….
