    • War between the republic of Korea and the Democratic Peoples’ Republic of Korea. North Korea ( Republic of Korea) invaded South Korea ( Democratic Peoples’ Republic of Korea)on June 25, 1950. The war started at Korea’s 38th parallel, which divided North and South Korea. North Korea pushed South Korea into a corner very quickly, until UN intervention, which pushed North Korea past the 38th parallel. Eventually North Korea will push again to the 38th parallel.
