  1. 1. uperheros
  2. 2. The Creation• The first Superhero was “Superman” created by Jerry Siegel.• Superman made his first appearance in ‘Action Comics #1’ in 1938.
  3. 3. • Since the beginning of superheroes, they have evolved into a wide range of heroes.• For example………
  4. 4. BATMAN!!
  5. 5. • Batman is an example of an amazing superhero.• Also he is one of the first superheroes without superpowers• Basically…..Batman is on the good side of the evolution of supeheroes….But…• There are others……..
  6. 6. …Like Aquaman…• That suck something fierce.
  7. 7. Types• There are 2 types of supeheroes.• Super Powers• No Superpowers
  8. 8. Superpowers• When you think of superpowers, you think of Superman…• Flying, Super Strength, Heat Vision, those are only a few of the many superpowers
  9. 9. Heros• Superheroes without superpowers: Batman, Daredevil, The Crimson Bolt• All are still very much superheroes, they just use gadgets. Like Batarangs• In my opinion, it’s not powers that makes a superhero. It’s the want to fight for justice.
  10. 10. • Some may define a superhero only as a person with ‘super powers’, but that’s not true.• One of the best superheroes “The Punisher” has no superpowers.• And he is still awesome.
  11. 11. Supervillians• Supervillians were brought into superhero comics early on, because superheroes putting the smack down on regular people became too familiar• They needed to be issued a challenge• Some famous supervillians:• Lex Luthor, The Joker, The Green Goblin
  12. 12. Sidekicks• Sidekicks were brought into the superhero world to spice things up for the old characters by giving them a partner.• The Most famous sidekick Robin, is a good example.
  13. 13. Finally, Stereotypes• Many think that superheroes live by a moral code to not kill & to do good by citizens of their city.• False• Punisher kills da crap out some people
  14. 14. All in all,• Superheroes have been around for the last century & are still living on as an amazing form of entertainment, pop culture, & may even be a job for some people.• So, here’s to another century….
