Introduction to Data Analysis SEDana (Salland Engineering Data analysis application) • SEDana Real-time is a plug-in module (DLL) for SEDana (Salland Engineering Data analysis application). • SEDana is a Fast, Easy, Practical tool for statistical analysis of ATE (Automated Test Equipment) test data. Real-time Module DTC (Dynamic Test-Cell Controller) • The Real-time Module communicates between a SPD (Service Provider Daemon) and SEDana. • The SPD is a process that receives the parametric data from the Tester Daemons and makes it available for the TCI (Test Cell Integration) modules. • TCI is an umbrella term that describes a number of products and services from Salland Engineering. Real-time Module Storage of Real-time Data • Real-time data is stored in the buffers of SEDana. • SEDana uses these buffers to display plots, tables and text reports. • A real-time data set is growing when data is received from the SPD. • Real-time data sets can be duplicated. Functionality Benefits • Data Analysis in Real-time Mode • Compare current data with historical data • Site to Site correlation • Early detection of bad yield • Product Engineer, Manager and/or customer can view performance of the tester at their console. • Support for multiple tester connection (up to 5 connections). Functionality Connection Setup • Connection is setup by the Real-time Module. • The SPD takes care of communication between the Tester Daemon. • SPD send events to the Real-time Module when the Tester Daemon gathers data from the Tester. • The Real-time Module show connection status in SEDana.     15. Functionality Real-time Data Sets • Real-time data set in SEDana memory is growing as new data comes in. • The real-time data set only exist in memory unless you export it to STDF or CSV. Functionality Create New Data Sets • New data sets are created when: • The devices exceed the allocated count (Optional) • Different lot is received • Same lot and different wafer is received • Wafer information per data set (Optional) • New data set creation (optional) can be defined by the user of the Real-time Module. • Lot and wafer detection is done automatically. Functionality Duplicated Data Sets • When you want to perform a site-to-site compare you are able to create duplicates of the real-time data set. • You can attach a site filter to each real-time data set.
