1. Bob’s Bad
Day!

2. Bob walked up to a sneaky driveway. He
looked left and right but he didn’t see any
cars. Bob started to cross but he heard an
engine noise. Stopping just in time a car
zoomed out of the driveway in front of him!
“Phew that was close,” said Bob.

3. As he carried on his way to school Bob
stopped to cross the road at the traffic
island. He remembered to stop, look and
listen before he crossed to the middle.
When he was on the island he waited for a
gap in the traffic, before safely crossing to
the other side.

4. As he got closer to school Bob walked up to a very
busy street with traffic lights on the corner. He
pushed the button and waited for the green man
to flash, then he crossed safely to the other side.

5. Just before he got to school Bob
came across a zebra crossing. He
looked left and right and then
crossed to the other side of the road.

6. Bobs tips for wet days
• On a wet day look out for slippery spots.
• Take extra care when crossing the road
because there will be more cars.
